My expertise

As a graduate demographer, I have extensive knowledge in the social and health science context as well as many years of experience in data-based projects. Through my teaching activities in the field of public health, I constantly pass on my professional knowledge and at the same time am challenged to keep my acquired know-how up to date. In addition, as an author of print and e-learning teaching materials, I am experienced in the design and implementation of teaching and training materials.

On a freelance basis, I offer interdisciplinary project work with a focus on statistical analysis and data visualisation, teaching and training, as well as consulting on scientific issues. My research focuses on the investigation of demographic structures and processes, the analysis of socio-spatial developments, epidemiological issues and aspects of health care. My goal is to provide data-based insights that support informed decision-making in research, practice and policy.

Before becoming self-employed, I worked as a scientist at research institutions for several years.
